Brief History of Tamachi Industries Co., Ltd.
1912	Started production of automobiles under the name of Ohta Automobiles Co., Ltd., in Sugamo, Tokyo, Japan.
1936	Won the first prize in the Domestic Car Division at the 1^st All-Japan Car Racing Championships as the purely domestic made car.
1962	Reorganized and established Tamachi Industries Co., Ltd.
1981	Moved the Head office and the main factory to the present location in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
1988	Built a second factory in Ohta-ku, Tokyo, Japan
1991	Moved the second factory to Shizuoka from Tokyo.
2004	We have 4 factories, A to D, in Shizuoka and we are just building E-factory.
A Formal Greeting
Tamachi factory was founded in the Meiji-era, 1912, by Mr. Kunihiro Ohta's grandfather. 　Now, here at the Tamachi factory, we are providing high technique engine parts for the IRL race, GT race, etc. We are providing our high quality services to the racing society. 　Here at Tamachi, we specialize in race car camshaft, cylinder head and cylinder block. Tamachi products are quality products known throughout the world. 　When taking in account, magnesium, which has the properties of being light and strong, we have a top class technique so as to provide our "high Quality" service to other high precision material manufacturers. 　At the same time, from the technique that we have gained from making the race cars parts, we also design and construct industrial parts. 　Today, we are better than other companies that also make CAD / CAMproducts which the contemporary period wants. 　About product control, we are using coordinate measuring machines to check and make sure that we fix any production errors and also to alleviate past mistakes.When we receive a design from a customer, we try to keep in touch with them and discuss the plan, accuracy, and the processing. If a problem does arise we can find the problem early and solve it. Our priority is responsible work and delivering "high quality" to our customers. 　Our motto is "The Company is person". We are trying to challenge new things and also trying to communicate with cultural activities.
